IronMerge People are currently recruiting Indigenous identified Australians for FIFO Utility work in hospitality roles in mining across Western Australia. These roles are for Indigenous Australians to promote diversity across our workforce.

These roles are FIFO from Perth airport and usually a 2:1 swing or adhoc leave cover

• Super paid on all hours worked
• 11-hour workdays
• Flights from Perth – ONLY WA residents will be considered.
• Weekly pays on a Thursday

Essential Criteria to Apply:

• Reside in WA - Interstate or overseas applicants are not considered
• A minimum of 6 months recent FIFO or DIDO Experience is advantageous
• Must be willing to work across all departments onsite, including kitchen
• Flexible to work any roster onsite including overnight if required
• Able to pass a full medical and drug screen
• Have a current & clear National Police Clearance less than 6 months old or willing to obtain one
• WA Drivers Licence is preferred, however, an Australian DL will be accepted
• Able to complete all required online and in person Inductions

Key Responsibilities
As a FIFO Utility, you will work across a variety of areas:

• Housekeeping/Cleaning of camp accommodation facilities and rooms
• Kitchen and Dining Room service areas – cleaning, food handling and food preparation as required
• Mine Site Cleaning – Offices & Crib rooms
• Tavern or Retail shops including coffee making
• Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas and grounds
• Able to work up to 12-hour shifts and, day or night shifts
• Able to work in remote environments which might mean extreme heat
• Able to multi-task and assist in other areas without issue
• Able to understand your responsibilities and work safely
