The Role
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include,

• Ensure compliance with statutory accounting obligations and IFRS
• Preparation of financial statements, for multiple entities
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly general ledger account reconciliations
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Accounting for fixed assets, impairment and building valuation
• Assisting and preparation for Auditors
• Proactive involvement in continuous improvement and streamlining
• Business partnering and stakeholder engagement across departments

About You
The successful applicant, will have/be,

• CA or CPA qualified with similar experience in a large/complex organisation
• Financial Services or Insurance Industry experience well regarded
• Strong understanding of accounting legislation and audit standard (Big 4 background well regarded)
• Focused on efficiency's and continuous improvement, Strong ERP systems experience
• Well developed communication and stakeholder management
• A professional and positive team player
