Join a High-Impact PropTech Startup Building the Future of Property Intelligence

We're a fast-moving PropTech startup based in Kew, developing a next-generation location intelligence platform for property and infrastructure professionals – blending big data, GIS, and AI into a seamless user experience.

You’ll be working closely with the founder and two other engineers to build the core product from the ground up. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role for a developer who thrives in ownership, values clean architecture, and enjoys solving complex spatial and data-driven problems.

What You’ll Be Working On

Architecting and building scalable web applications (and potentially mobile apps down the line)

Creating dynamic, performant UIs with React

Managing and querying large geospatial databases using PostgreSQL/PostGIS

Designing and integrating serverless infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, etc.)

Leveraging LLMs and AI (e.g., embeddings, GPT APIs) to create intelligent insights for users

Building map-based features with GIS frameworks (Mapbox)

Working closely with the team to define and refine product features, API contracts, and frontend/backend interfaces

Who You Are

Minimum 2 years of full stack development experience, ideally in startups or product-focused teams

Comfortable working across the stack (React, Node/Python/TypeScript backend, AWS, databases)

Experience with PostgreSQL, including performance tuning on large datasets

Exposure to GIS concepts and geospatial data (e.g. coordinate systems, spatial queries, vector tiles)

Familiarity with AWS serverless architecture and cloud-native patterns

Comfortable using or integrating AI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, vector databases)

Passionate about clean code, scalable architecture, and building products users love

Bonus if you have: experience with Next.js, Mapbox GL JS, data visualization, or mobile apps (React Native or Flutter)
