The Leaders

Reporting to the Employee Relations & Wellbeing Manager, this role sits within a collaborative and high-performing mid-size HR team. The function is well-resourced and positioned for continued growth, with strong leadership and a shared focus on delivering impactful people outcomes. The Opportunity

In this unique Employee Relations Advisor role, you will split your time between Employee Relations, driving well-being Initiatives and developing training programs. Partnering closely with retail leaders across Australia and New Zealand, you will support team development initiatives, guide performance and conduct conversations, and lead investigations where required. Your in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and retail awards will be critical in driving consistent, fair, and effective people practices across the network.

Day to day your responsibilities will range between:

  • Managing end-to-end employee relations matters including conduct, performance, and grievances, with the ability to navigate cases in a fast-paced retail environment where timely resolution is critical.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, including complaints, grievances, and investigations.
  • Advising leaders and employees on performance management and disciplinary processes, including documentation and training.
  • Interpreting and advising on Award provisions, ensuring compliance and clear communication across the business
  • Championing health and well-being programs, including risk audits, mental health training, and WHS compliance.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the People function.
  • Ensuring timely responses to employee queries and conducting regular store visits as required.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of general people initiatives, policies, and training programs.

About You
