About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Night Shift Electrician to join our team at Recycling Plastics Australia in Kilburn, South Australia. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the electrical systems in our recycling facility. As an Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery, and systems
Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues to minimise downtime and disruptions
Installing, upgrading, and modifying electrical systems and components as required
Ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations
Providing technical guidance and support to other members of the team
Maintaining detailed records of all electrical work and inspections
What we're looking for
Fully qualified Electrician with a current electrical license
Minimum 3 years of experience working as an Electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and safety protocols
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
