We are seeking an LV Mechanic that wants to upskill on plant and heavy diesel equipment while potentially growing their leadership capacity with a small team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and perform on-the-spot repairs on trucks, bobcats, and excavators.
• Identify mechanical problems and carry out efficient, lasting repairs.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Repair, modify, and maintain truck trays and bodies to ensure functionality and safety.
• Work collaboratively with the team to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Your Profile

• Interest in developing experience as a fitter or diesel mechanic within the earthmoving or heavy machinery sector.
• Excellent diagnostic abilities with strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge or proficiency with welding techniques and thermal cutting would be advantageous
• Capable of working effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; heavy vehicle license is advantageous.
