G7Electrical is seeking an experienced Solar Sales Consultant to join our team in Morington 7018. This full-time role will be responsible for driving sales of our industry-leading solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will play a key strategic role in expanding our customer base and contributing to the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and prospecting potential customers through various sales channels, including networking, referrals, and lead generation

Work with warm, qualified leads – no cold calling required.

Conducting in-person consultations to understand customer needs and recommend the optimal solar and battery energy solutions

Preparing detailed proposals and quotes, negotiating contracts, and closing sales

Maintaining a strong pipeline of sales opportunities and continuously working to expand the customer base

Staying up-to-date with the latest solar technology, industry trends, and government incentives

Providing excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in solar sales or a related field

Strong understanding of solar energy technology, including solar panel systems, inverters, and energy storage solutions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and sell complex technical solutions to customers

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, certifications, and government incentives

Highly motivated and driven, with a passion for renewable energy and delivering exceptional customer experiences
