ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking experienced Light Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanics (preferably with experience maintaining and repairing Diesel Water Pump Sets similar to TruFlo Pumps etc and Generators) to perform maintenance and repairs on mobile generators, lighting towers, diesel water pumps and other equipment as required. The ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude, previous experience working with generators, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring that the equipment we help maintain operates at peak performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnose and repair mobile plant equipment and other equipment as required

Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns

Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment components including large water pumps

Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, pumps and ancillary equipment

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and repair equipment efficiently

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines

Collaborate with team members to complete complex repairs

Communicate works with client and GenPower Supervisor daily / weekly

REQUIREMENTS:

Australian recognised trade completion certificate as Light Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanic

National Police Clearance

Practical experience working within a heavy-duty environment
