We're currently seeking an experienced and compassionate female Disability Support Worker with AUSLAN fluency to support a participant living with Cerebral Palsy. This is a rewarding opportunity to build a meaningful, long-term connection and make a real difference.

About the Role
This one-on-one role involves high physical and personal support and requires someone who is confident, caring, and reliable.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care and high physical support (hoist transfers, continence care, hygiene support)

Communicating with the participant using AUSLAN

Supporting daily routines and social/community engagement

Medication administration and progress note documentation

Domestic assistance (meal prep, cleaning, laundry)

Accompanying the participant to medical and social appointments

Supporting wellbeing through gentle rehab and routine-based care

About You

You are kind, dependable, and passionate about supporting others to live with dignity and independence. You’re fluent in AUSLAN and have experience supporting individuals with complex care needs, particularly Cerebral Palsy.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

AUSLAN fluency (required)

Experience supporting clients with Cerebral Palsy

Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a similar support role

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Aged Care (highly regarded)

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

Medication Administration competency

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

Strong communication skills and a reliable, professional attitude

Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu
