The Service Access Team (SAT) is central to supporting service operations within Anglicare WA. The team provides a centralised, phone-based service for Anglicare WA services across Western Australia and through doing so supports our commitment to ensuring clients are able to access appropriate supports in ways that are integrated, response and person centred. As a Service Access Officer, you will use your knowledge of our services and programs to identify client need and connect our clients with appropriate services. You will undertake a screening process to determine eligibility for service and make warm referrals to internal and external services to assist clients with ongoing needs. You will also be responsible for overseeing client waitlists and making bookings for clients to access our programs.
This is a part time ongoing employment opportunity based in our East Perth location 4 days per week 8.30 - 4.30. Hybrid with working from home options once fully trained.
What you will bring
You are a passionate and talented individual who is driven to deliver quality services to our clients.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to a wide range of clients in need of assistance
- Ability to efficiently identify client need and screen for risk
- Ability to prioritise, plan work and maintain accurate records
- Well-developed computer skills (MS Word, MS Outlook, client management system)
- Ability to be flexible, demonstrate initiative and work effectively under pressure, using effective de-escalation techniques
The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year.

- Salary starting from $72,829 pro rata + 11.5% superannuation
- Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses
