About the Role: We’re looking for a passionate Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary youth mental health team, supporting young people aged 12–25 in a primary care setting. In this role, you'll provide evidence-based individual and group interventions, conduct assessments, coordinate care, and collaborate with a range of professionals and services. You'll also help develop group programs and actively participate in supervision and team meetings. If you're committed to making a difference in youth mental health, we’d love to hear from you.

Experience Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the provision of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and/or other evidence based therapies with young people aged 12-25 who have a mental health disorder.
• Demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills in involving young people in their own care and of inclusive practice principles
• Demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills in family inclusive practice
• Demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills in delivering age and developmentally appropriate care.

Qualification and Other Requirements:

• Approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline, including social work, psychology or mental health nursing*
• Membership of an appropriate professional body. Social Workers are required to be eligible for full membership with AASW. Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, and Occupational Therapists are required to have full registration with AHPRA.
• Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)

Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist

Approved Masters or equivalent in psychology, with experience of two (2) years or more in clinical mental health settings preferably community based.

Registered as a psychologist with AHPRA.

Clinical Psychologist:

To be recognised as a clinical psychologist, personnel must meet requirements to have practice endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia in specialist area of practice of clinical psychology.

Mental Health Nurse

Mental Health Nurses must be accredited with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.

Experience of two (2) years or more in clinical mental health settings preferably community based.

Social Worker

Accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

Experience of two (2) years or more in clinical mental health settings preferably community based.

Occupational Therapist

Registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.

Approved degree from a recognised School of Occupational Therapy.

Experience of two (2) years or more in clinical mental health settings preferably community based.
