The Role

We are seeking a Full-Time Pastry Cook to work the early morning shift from Monday to Friday, 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks in the kitchen, ensuring all our products meet our high standards of quality and taste.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastry goods including quiches, pies, sweet tarts, slices, and bar cakes.
• Mould, shape and line pastry into tins.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure perfect results.
• Coordinate the entire baking process, including forming, loading, baking, and cooling of pastry batches.
• Decorate cakes, tarts, and slices with icing.
• Operate baking machinery and equipment.
• Clean and maintain food preparation areas, trays, tins, and machinery.
• Participate in HACCP team duties (training provided).

About You

To thrive in this role, you should be a qualified Pastry Cook with the ability to:

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow instructions and collaborate with your team.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Maintain a positive and proactive attitude.
• and have a Minimum 2 -3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
