About the role
This part-time Garden & Building Maintenance Supervisor role with Sunshine Group Australia is based in Cairns, Queensland. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the company's buildings and gardens, ensuring a well-maintained and visually appealing property for our clients.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the work of grounds and maintenance staff

Inspect buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs

Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs, including gardening, cleaning, and handyman tasks

Undertake minor maintenance and handyman tasks

Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies

Provide regular progress updates and recommendations to management

Foster a positive team culture and provide guidance and support to direct reports

What we're looking for

Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repair, and upkeep procedures

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Hours of Employment

Regular hours are four hours per day Monday to Friday (Between the hours of 9am & 5pm), with one weekend per month (8 hours per day Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 5pm)
