About the role

Commercial Kitchen Victoria is seeking an experienced Gas Plumber to join our team in Bayswater, VIC. As a Gas Plumber, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance and installation services for commercial kitchens and restaurants across the region. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with a leading provider of kitchen equipment and services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

Performing routine maintenance and servicing of commercial gas equipment, including cooktops, pizza ovens, and combi ovens

Conducting safety inspections and identifying any issues with gas systems

Carrying out new installations and upgrades of commercial gas appliances and related infrastructure

Troubleshooting and repairing gas leaks and other malfunctions

Liaising with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice

Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety protocols

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Gas Fitting or equivalent trade certification

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Gas Plumber, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting

Excellent technical knowledge of gas systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of your work

A current driver's licence and tools of the trade
