About the Role:

Our team of professionals offer high-quality, client-focussed therapeutic services including family support, assessments and training for carers, parents and support teams. Our team of Behaviour Support Practitioners are responsible for:

• Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based positive behaviour support plans and interventions
• Conducting a variety of assessments for participants of all ages and all disabilities
• Develop, deliver and monitor interventions and strategies for the management of behaviours of concern
• Provide training to relevant stakeholders in therapeutic interventions, behaviour support plans, restricted practices, risk and safety plans
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

• Excellent Remuneration – $110k - $130k + Super P.A + incentives for reaching and exceeding targets + laptop + smart phone and kilometre reimbursement.

About you:

• Assessed by the NDIS at being Proficient or above as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or Registered Psychologist
• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or equivalent experience that meets the requirements of the NDIS Capability Framework.
• Strong commitment to the Human Rights of people living with mental health and disabilities.
• Capability to work independently to achieve identified goals within time constraints
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), National Police Check (NPC) and NDIS Workers Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Unrestricted Drivers Licence, reliable car and willingness to travel
• Registration with AASW or relevant professional body will be highly regarded.
• Current First Aid Certificate
