About the Role

As Pre-Construction Project Manager, you’ll lead the early phase of commercial fitout projects ranging from $1m+. You’ll drive planning, procurement, design coordination, and risk management to ensure every project is set up for smooth delivery.

Reporting into a senior leader and working alongside a collaborative delivery team, you’ll manage 1–4 projects at a time, depending on scale and complexity, with a strong focus on compliance, cost control, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project planning, scheduling, and procurement processes

Manage budgets, cost estimates, and contract negotiations

Coordinate design reviews and ensure constructability

Ensure compliance with Australian codes, WHS, and ISO standards

Implement value engineering and proactive risk mitigation

Liaise confidently with clients, suppliers, and consultants

Drive alignment between internal and external stakeholders

About You

5–7 years’ experience in commercial fitout or construction project management

Strong working knowledge of project budgets, contracts, drawings, and timelines

Skilled in stakeholder communication and early-phase coordination

Familiar with ISO standards and WHS regulations

Naturally proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven

A qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred, not essential
