Our client is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Laboratory Technician to join our mine site laboratory team. This role is key to ensuring the technical accuracy, operational efficiency, and quality standards of our sample preparation and testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare samples and maintain laboratory equipment to support optimal technical and operational performance.

Demonstrate and promote strong safety practices and cost-conscious behaviour

Maintain rigorous quality control processes to uphold sample integrity and minimise contamination.

Validate all laboratory results, promptly reporting any equipment faults or deviations for investigation.

Stay up to date with test methods and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant standards.

Systematically label and store samples for easy traceability and orderliness.

About You

Proven experience in sample preparation within a laboratory setting.

Previous experience in a mining environment, ideally within iron ore (desirable).

Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), especially CCLAS or Control Track.

Strong computer skills with a high level of digital literacy.

Current manual C Class Driver’s License.

Construction White Card (mandatory).
