Robert Half Technology are working alongside a well known house-hold name in Brisbane who are looking to expand their engineering team with a Development Lead which can offer future growth opportunities. Our client have grown across the whole of Australia and are a market leader in their field.

The Role

This will be predominantly an onsite role in their office in the north of Brisbane and the successful candidate will be coming in to lead a small development team as they look to grow. This is a hands on lead role where 50% of the role will be coding and 50% will be leading a team of 5 and strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and people leadership across the web and application development team.
• Involvement in the design, development, implementation and support of the websites, web applications and additional systems.
• Write robust code using modern frameworks including .NET, C# and mobile applications in Xamarin and .NET Maui.
• Identify and encourage areas of growth and improvement within the team.
• You will work on multiple different applications with different technologies at times.
• Collaborate with the Applications Manager and the ICT Project Manager through detailed analysis, design and development of the goals

Requirements:

• Experience in a technical and team leadership role where you have been hands on as well as a people leader simultaneously
• Extensive experience working with ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, etc.

• Experience working with SQL Server on the backend and JavaScript on the front end such as React.
• Working knowledge with Xamarin or .NET Maui would be an advantage
• Knowledge of how integrations work would be ideal
