Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Communications and Media Relations Manager. to develop and implement effective communication strategies that promote our unique culture, values and employee engagement. This role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and professional corporate messaging, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute internal communication and engagement strategies to inform, engage and inspire our teams

Partner with stakeholders to inform about complex change management communication initiatives

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure clear messaging cascades to our teams across all MMP sites and business units

Develop and implement a comprehensive media relations program to position MMP as a top-of-mind destination for our partners, customers and visitors

Manage effective communications and public relations to media and broadcasters

Monitor, analyse and report on performance, identifying areas for improvement

Essential Requirements:

8+ years of experience in corporate communications or public relations

Exceptional written, visual and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear and compelling narratives

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business units to support communication needs

Understanding of change management principles and experience in facilitating organisational change through effective communication
