About the role

JAE88 Trading is seeking an experienced Truck driver- HC/ Heavy Combination to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will involve operating heavy combination vehicles to transport goods across various locations. All equipment is the latest models and kept in great condition.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating heavy combination vehicles, including prime movers with semi-trailers, to transport a variety of goods
• Conducting pre-drive and post-drive vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Adhering to all relevant road and transport regulations, including logbook requirements
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of trips, deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles as required
• Providing excellent customer service and communication with clients and other stakeholders

What we're looking for

• A valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
• Substantial experience (3+ years) operating heavy combination vehicles in a commercial environment
• Strong knowledge of road rules and transport regulations
• Forklift license/Moffett experience highly regarded but not essential
• Willing to obtain fork license and learn Moffett operation
• Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
