About the role

Alpha Heavy Towing is seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Kemps Creek, NSW. As a Heavy Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating our heavy-duty tow trucks to assist with the recovery and transportation of large, oversized, or disabled vehicles. This full-time role is an integral part of our road transport operations, contributing to the efficient and reliable service we provide to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate and manoeuvre heavy tow trucks to recover and transport a variety of vehicles, including trucks, buses, and large machinery

Assess the situation and determine the most appropriate towing method and equipment to use

Ensure the safe loading, securing, and unloading of vehicles being transported

Maintain detailed records of all towing jobs, including documentation and invoicing

Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies

Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

Assist with basic maintenance of tow trucks

What we're looking for

A valid Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) driver's licence

Significant experience ( 3+ years) operating heavy vehicles

Strong understanding of load restraints

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle a variety of towing scenarios

Commitment to safety and a demonstrated track record of safe driving

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

Training will be provided for the right candidate

Preferably Tow Truck License or willing to obtain
