About the role

Beechwoods' is seeking a part-time Cook to join our team at our establishment in Mossman, QLD 4873. As a Cook, you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals for our guests, contributing to the overall dining experience at our establishment.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and procedures

Ensure all food preparation and cooking is completed in a timely, efficient and hygienic manner

Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to all health and safety standards

Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests

Contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations and menu development

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar food preparation role within the hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
