About the Opportunity
• As a Registered Midwife in Tasmania, you will Provide women-centered midwifery care, offering guidance, support, and clinical expertise during pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period, while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.
• You will contribute to strengthening health outcomes through safe, high-quality, and clinically appropriate midwifery care.
• You will deliver safe, high-quality midwifery care in partnership with women, their families, and the healthcare team, ensuring adherence to NMBA codes and guidelines, relevant legislation, and policies.
• You will actively contribute to a multidisciplinary team through effective communication, collaboration, and support, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
• You will foster a culture of learning by addressing educational needs, mentoring peers, and engaging in professional development and safety initiatives to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
What's on Offer
• Permanent and Flexible Roles: Full-time, part-time, and shift-work opportunities (up to 76 hours per fortnight).
• Salary: $78,179 - $105,995 per annum (plus 11.5% superannuation).
• Relocation Support: Up to twelve (12) weeks fully furnished accommodation upon arrival; Travel and relocation expenses provide; and Up to $15,000 payment over three years for interstate nurses and midwives, plus relocation allowances.
• Visa Sponsorship: Permanent Residency (PR) and 482 (TSS) open to eligible candidates
• Additional Benefits:
oSalary packaging benefits, including living expenses up to $9,010 and meal entertainment up to $2,650 annually.
oPostgraduate allowance of up to 10% based on qualifications.

Eligibility
• Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Midwife (local and international applicants)
• Minimum of 12 months of professional experience as a Registered Midwife.
