What will you do?
As our new Senior Consultant within the Program Performance team in Aurecon, you will be working on as a Project Manager on a long-term contract within the Water sector. In this role you'll work with a team of highly skilled specialists managing complex/strategic projects or large-scale programs to provide efficient customer-focussed capital investment outcomes. With this you will play an integral role in one of the largest and most complex capital programs in South Australia managing the delivery of critical water assets.
Within this role you will drive outcomes to inform innovative solutions within the specific delivery group by ensuring that projects or designated activities comply with internal and external standards, acts and regulations.
Here are the key things you'll do:
- Manage multiple water infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client program objectives.
- Collaborate within the client environment to build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure successful program delivery.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and performance to meet KPIs, timelines, and investment targets.
- Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making, considering technical risk and delivery planning.
- Regularly report on project status to leadership and stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement through quality processes.
What can you bring to the team?
We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life. Alongside your industry experience in similar management consulting, engineering consulting, or equivalent roles, you'll also have:
- Strong project management knowledge and a passion for impactful infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in infrastructure delivery, ideally including water projects.
- Skilled in stakeholder communication, with a commitment to project ethics and values.
- Familiar with project management principles and tools, with a drive to make a positive difference.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in engineering, project management, or related fields.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and reporting skills, with a growth mindset.
