About the Role:

Aussie Seafood House is looking for a motivated and experienced Rear of House Manager to join our vibrant seafood retail team in Lawnton, Queensland. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about retail operations and looking to advance their management career. You will work closely with the Store Manager and Owner, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running and success of our busy seafood store.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing and motivating the rear-of-house team.

Oversee daily operations including inventory management, product preparation, quality control, and compliance.

Ensure efficient stock handling, storage, and rotation.

Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and operational standards.

Train and develop team members to enhance operational efficiency and quality standards.

Support strategic decision-making and business planning alongside the Store Manager and Owner.

Who We’re Looking For:

Experience in management or supervisory roles, ideally within retail food preparation or hospitality.

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Exceptional ability in inventory management and operational processes.

Commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality and hygiene.

Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Knowledge of compliance, health, and safety standards relevant to food retail.
