As demand continues to grow, so does our fleet. We're currently hiring experienced tractor slasher operators to join our expanding team in Cairns.

The role

You will be an essential part of our vegetation maintenance crews, safely operating equipment to maintain vegetation along road, rail and public spaces.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, tasks such as tractor slashing, mowing, herbicide spraying, weed identification, daily reporting, and site assessments. There are times when working away is required.

Starting wages are above industry award with travel, skills and living away allowances paid.

Qualifications / Experience

Experience with equipment operations & maintenance (tractor slashers, brush-cutters, zero turn mowers,)

General Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Manual car license

MR truck license - Highly Desirable

ACDC license - Highly Desirable

Traffic Control Tickets - Highly Desirable

Eligible WHV applicants are welcome to apply - must have reliable transport, tractor driving experience, relevant truck license and/or tractor ticket
