About the role

K2Q Contracting is seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team in our Darwin, NT. As a casual role, this position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in the vibrant and growing road transport industry. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of goods across the Northern Territory.

What you'll be doing

Operate a multi-combination heavy rigid vehicle to transport goods and materials

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy

Adhere to all relevant road rules, regulations, and safety procedures

Maintain accurate logbooks and records of deliveries

Assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle as required

Provide excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

A valid MC (Multi-Combination) driver's license

Substantial experience (2+ years) operating heavy rigid vehicles in the road transport industry

Demonstrated knowledge of road rules and regulations

Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving practices

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work flexible hours as required
