Amazon is seeking for Reliability, Maintenance Technicians to join the team at our Fulfillment Center (FC) in Jandakot.

Please note that the current shift pattern includes 10-hour shifts x 4 days and one day working during the weekend, there are day and night shift vacancies available.

Key job responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.

Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out.

React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue.

Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.

Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.

Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians.

Basic Qualifications

Formal Trade Qualification: Served a full Apprenticeship in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualified to a minimum of Certificate 3.

Certificate lll in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license or Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner). Alternatively, equivalent trade qualification formally recognised in Australia.

Industrial maintenance experience.

Experience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems.

Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.

Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.

Ability to read and understand electrical /mechanical drawings.

Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.

Experience of computer maintenance systems (CMMS).

Experience of sortation machines.

Experience in an industrial environment.

Experience of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
