About the role

Holistic Strength is seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team with our newly created therapy space in Mandurah, WA. This is a part-time role with the opportunity to progress into full time. As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy to children (0-18 years old) with a range of developmental, physical, and cognitive needs.

What you'll be doing

Working alongside GP's, Paediatrician, Support Coordinators, Speech Pathologist

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify each child's unique strengths, challenges, and goals

Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans to help children improve their fine motor, gross motor, sensory, and self-care skills

Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care

Providing education and support to families to empower them to continue therapy at home

Documenting progress and maintaining detailed client records

Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

At least 1 year of experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting

Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and colleagues

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
