The HSEQ department is a team that provides quality, safety and environmental advice and support to the business. The team is responsible for the development, maintenance and assurance of the TDWA management systems in accordance with our legal obligations and QSEA accreditation requirements.
About the Role-
We are looking for a Safety-First Leader passionate about workplace excellence. We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to champion Health, Safety, Environment & Quality across our Transport Network. As our HSEQ Manager, YOU will:
Develop and Implement HSEQ strategies, objectives, and programs, Ensure compliance with International Organization for Standardization and Industry Regulations, Lead Injury Management Workplace and Mitigation.
Experience and Qualifications-
- Tertiary Qualifications in Health and Safety or related field.
- Extensive HSEQ management system experience in a transport or complex, highly regulated environment.
- Experience leading and driving improved safety and quality performance.
- Experience in the Transport & Bus industry (preferable).
Skills and Attributes-
- High level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills commensurate with a dynamic business in a political and industrial sensitive environment.
- In depth knowledge of the relevant legislation and applicable standards.
- Demonstrated experience in a business environment that requires the use of analytical and problem-solving techniques.
- High level of initiative and demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in advising senior managers and others on sensitive issues.
- Understanding and ability to develop and implement a reliability engineering methodology into the maintenance business.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
