The Manager Financial Accounting oversees and directs the Financial Accounting function, ensuring an effective and efficient internal control environment for the department by managing financial accounting systems and processes such as annual financial statements and banking authorisations.

The role also provides expert advice and specialist financial accounting support in Machinery of Government and organisational change affecting the department. Oversee the department's Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable responsibilities including salary overpayments and debtor management.

Special Conditions

The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.

The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.

Some work outside of normal hours will be required.

This role requires a National Criminal History check.
