The Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance team, supporting the financial reporting and analysis functions across a diverse portfolio. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports;
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling;
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes;
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements;
• Partner with operational and investment teams to deliver financial insights; and
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support system enhancements.

A few small things we’re looking for

• CA qualification (recently completed);
• Background in audit, business services, or similar from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm;
• Solid technical accounting and financial reporting skills;
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking;
• Clear and confident communication skills; and
• A proactive, team-oriented approach and a genuine desire to grow in a commercial setting.
