We are a proudly South Australian-owned frozen food manufacturer, operating since 2020. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Operations Assistant to support both our kitchen and production operations on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of daily manufacturing activities.

About the Role:

This role is ideal for someone with experience in food manufacturing who is ready to step into a leadership-support position. You’ll assist in managing daily production schedules, supervising manufacturing activities, and helping maintain high standards in food safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day operations of food preparation, packaging, and cleaning to GMP standards

• Assist with dispatch and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products

• Manage inventory and raw materials to reduce waste and ensure supply continuity

• Coordinate and communicate with kitchen, warehouse, and cross-functional teams

• Maintain and update HACCP documentation, forms, and compliance records

• Perform basic troubleshooting, equipment checks, and record-keeping

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment

• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of HACCP and food safety procedures

• Basic equipment knowledge and a proactive, hands-on attitude

• Solid computer and data entry skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
