Holyoake is a leading provider of counselling and support services for people impacted directly and indirectly by alcohol, other drugs, and mental health concerns. We operate through five locations in Victoria Park, Midland, Northam, Narrogin, and Merredin, and employ over 100 staff.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Services Manager to join our senior management team.

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Services Manager to lead our North East Metropolitan Community Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (NEMCADS) on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the General Manager Services and Development, this is a great opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

The key focus areas of this position is to:

Lead a clinical team which includes primarily counsellors, and several clinical supervisors, all based at our Midland office

Ensure the delivery of high quality, evidence based counselling and support services to individuals and families impacted by alcohol and other drug issues

Lead and support a team of highly motivated counsellors and support staff

Develop effective collaborative working relationships with stakeholders and promote Holyoake services to the broader community

Identify and develop innovative service options for consumers

Criteria for Successful Applicants

To be successful, you will need to embrace Holyoake's family systems approach and demonstrate an understanding of evidence based interventions, including group programs.

You will also need the following:

Relevant tertiary qualification psychology, social work, counselling or similar

Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of clinical interventions (preferably within the alcohol and other drugs sector)

Demonstrated experience in managing a community service program

Experience in leading and developing effective teams

High level of communication and interpersonal skills, including report and submission writing

Demonstrated ability to foster innovation, service development and manage change

Demonstrated ability to successfully build partnerships and work collaboratively with key stakeholders.

Demonstrated completion of relevant training programs and courses.

Current First Aid Training Certificate.

National Police Clearance, no more than three months old

Current WA Driver’s Licence
