Bookkeeper – 6 month temporary contract position | Account For It Pty Ltd

Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking for a flexible, and WFH role? Account For It is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our team on a 6 month temporary contract basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as the business expands.

We have a small team of outgoing, friendly and supportive accountants and bookkeepers.

Qualifications & experience

Prior experience in a similar role

Proficient in Xero

Proficient in Employment Hero (desired but not essential)

Ability to work independently and self motivated

Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll as well as BAS

Excellent verbal, written and organisational skills

Tasks & responsibilities

Acting as a point of contact for our bookkeeping clients

Answering client questions

Ability to work on multiple clients simultaneously

Reconciling bank accounts

Processing payroll in Xero and Employment Hero

Preparing and processing payroll tax returns

Preparation and Reviewing BAS

Managing accounts payables

Adhoc reporting and processing tasks

Assisting management with month end close off including end of month journals
