About the role

MK Trucking is seeking an experienced Truck & Dog Driver / Tipper Driver to join our team in Wacol, Queensland. As a full-time driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across metropolitan areas.

What you'll be doing

• Operating a truck and dog trailer or tipper safely and efficiently on a variety of road conditions
• Performing daily pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
• Maintaining accurate logbooks and documentation as required
• Liaising with dispatchers and customers to ensure on-time deliveries
• Providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Truck & Dog Driver / Tipper Driver in the road transport industry
• Valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent driving skills and defensive driving techniques
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
