About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility, working closely with clinical and care teams to ensure safe, compliant, and resident-focused services. Your background as a Registered Nurse will support your ability to navigate clinical risk, workforce planning, and regulatory obligations.
You will play a key role in guiding the facility towards the upcoming aged care reforms, with particular focus on care minutes compliance, workforce rostering, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives, using data and resident feedback to inform decisions.
- Ensure services meet Aged Care Quality Standards and are inclusive of resident identities and preferences
- Develop and review policies and procedures across non-clinical service areas, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.
- Contribute clinical insight to support regulatory compliance, health and safety, and emergency preparedness
- Oversee care minute reporting, workforce rostering, and the implementation of new aged care reforms
- Manage supplier contracts and ensure efficient asset and resource utilisation
- Support and engage the services workforce through clear leadership, training, and performance development
About You
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is essential.
- Proven leadership experience in aged care or health care operations
- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, the Aged Care Act, and associated reforms
- Direct experience with care minute compliance, rostering systems, and operational reporting
- Excellent communication, organisational, and risk management skills.
- Willingness and readiness to relocate to rural Victoria and commit to community-based aged care leadership.
