We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join and grow our team as Behaviour Support Practitioners in Dubbo, NSW.

Distinct Directions is a multidisciplinary Allied Health practice operating across the Central West of New South Wales, with established offices in Bathurst, Orange, and Dubbo. We provide a broad range of services, including psychological therapy, forensic and developmental assessments, group programs, behaviour support planning and implementation. Our clients include individuals with diverse needs across forensic, disability, and mental health sectors.

Behaviour Support Practitioners –

Pay bracket: $80,000 - $120,000 + superannuation (dependent on experience)

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Distinct Directions, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with complex needs in the community.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and behaviours

Developing and implementing behaviour support plans

Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of behaviour support plans

Providing training and support to families, carers and support staff

Collaborating with other professionals and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to support

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguard Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (minimum level CORE).

Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred behaviour support to adults and children with complex disabilities.

Demonstrated experience in behaviour assessment, planning and implementing behaviour strategies that improve the client’s quality of life.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Have a strong focus on providing high-quality support (including report writing), to a client and their supporters.

The ability to work autonomously, meet required timeframes and importantly contribute positively to the Distinct Directions team
