The Role
A unique and confidential opportunity exists for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join a fast-paced, global business. As a strategic HR partner to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing company-wide talent strategies while managing core HR functions including labour relations, compliance, payroll, remuneration, employee engagement, and performance management. You will also liaise closely with global headquarters to ensure local HR strategies align with global priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of human resources strategy aligned with business objectives
- Provide strategic consultation to the management team to influence key business decisions
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of Australian labour law, Modern Awards and workplace legislation
- Oversee compensation and benefits frameworks, including regular salary reviews and payroll operations
- Manage end-to-end HR and payroll processes to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery
- Drive change management, HR projects, and continuous improvement initiatives across HR functions
- Lead and coach the HR team, providing mentoring and professional development
- Ensure a strong health & safety culture, managing WHS, injury management, and return-to-work strategies
- Act as an advisor on HR best practices, offering hands-on support to employees and managers as needed
About You
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in senior HR roles
- Strong knowledge of Australian labour law, employment regulations, and payroll-specific legislation
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies that support business growth
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams
- Experience working in a multinational or globally structured organisation
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Hands-on and strategic, with a track record of driving successful people initiatives and change programs
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline
