About the role:

Join our team as a Teacher's Assistant to work at Special Development Schools in and around Sunbury!

Key duties:
· Assist teachers in providing a safe and stimulating learning environment
· Ensure a continuation of learning for students in the absence of their usual education support.
· Develop a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles and approaches to cater for individual learning needs.

Skills & Experience (must meet ALL the below criteria):

· Completed a minimum of Certificate IV in Education Support and/or Certificate IV in Disability
· Ability to provide contact details for education/support worker based senior references from within the last 5 years
· Ability to work with students with a range of support needs.
· You MUST be willing to work within special development schools.
· You MUST be willing to assist students with meals and toileting.
· Adaptable to changing work environments.
