The role:

The Clinical Funding Documentation Officers (AN-ACC RN or EN) will provide support, across 3 homes, with documentation and monitoring of resident care needs, to maximise funding and support compliance with regulatory requirements and the Quality Standards – Aged Care and Safety.

Responsibilities will include:

Perform audits and provide support to the homes during AN-ACC assessments.

Work with clinical teams to assist with reviewing & monitoring of AN-ACC assessments to maximise funding

Assisting with accurate completion of assessments & care plans

Collect, collate and evaluate assessments prior to the external AN-ACC assessors visit to ensure congruency and accuracy

Provide education/ training/ toolbox session on AN-ACC funding and documentation requirements

This position is a permanent Monday to Friday role, with flexible start and finish times.

Key Selection Criteria:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse OR EN with extensive AN-ACC experience

Excellent working knowledge of the processes related to AN-ACC and the associated business rules.

Demonstrated ability to utilise AN-ACC to optimise funding / income.

Proven clinical assessment and auditing skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to educate site based staff

Current/valid Police Clearance.
