The Facility :

Hepburn House is a 106 bed Aged Care Facility. Its management is based on a person centred model of care . Residents at Hepburn House are empowered to have choices and make decisions regarding their care and influence the management of the home they live in. The company is progressive and recognises the changing needs of the ageing population and have adapted their systems and management to suit.

The Role:

We are specifically seeking a dedicated enrolled nurse who will be supported at all times by a senior registered nurse and be familiar with person centred care continuing to change from task orientated care . To support personal care staff and organise work routines based on resident preferences. The successful applicant will demonstrate their ability to be proactive and contribute to finding better ways of dealing with everyday situations related to resident care. Promote socialisation and support resident's lifestyle choices to improve their quality of life.

Essential

• Diploma of nursing

Desirable:

• Experience with managing residents with dementia
• Knowledge of aged care documentation.
• Knowledge of AN-ACC funding
