Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Global Mobility Adviser who can provide professional guidance to both academic staff and students on all Griffith Global Mobility program offerings, with a principal focus on outbound student mobility. The role also provides administrative support to the Coordinator, Global Mobility, and the Manager, International Partnerships. Your key responsibilities include;
- Assist and advise students interested in participating in outbound student mobility programs.
- Provide administrative assistance in managing applications for outbound student mobility programs.
- Represent Griffith and Griffith Global Mobility in a variety of activities, including Orientation, the Griffith Global Mobility Expo, information sessions, Open Day, visits by current and prospective partner institutions, agents and government delegations and networking functions.
- Create and maintain content regarding outbound student mobility on the Griffith Global Mobility website and assist with the development of promotional materials, including presentations, brochures, flyers and posters.
- Maintain accurate records and statistics on outbound student mobility at Griffith and provide reports as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding regulatory standards, including those relating to student visas and the ESOS Act, knowledge of University policy and procedures, and broad awareness of industry trends in international education, with specific reference to student mobility.
About You
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or an Associate Diploma qualification plus relevant work experience.
You will also possess:
- A strong commitment to facilitating international experiences for Griffith students, enriching their global outlook and academic growth.
- Proven skills and experience in public speaking, with the ability to effectively deliver information sessions both online and in person to promote the university's global mobility program.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Strong focus on details and ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint).
What we can offer
This is a continuing, full-time position primarily based at Griffith University's Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. However, as Griffith is a multi-site University and given the nature of the work, you will be required to work across other locations.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be level 5 range $79,705 - $89,416 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $93,254 - $104,616 per annum.
