Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced 3rd year Gastroenterology Advanced Trainee to join the team.
About Northern Health:
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a 3rd Year Gastroenterology Advanced Trainee to join the team at Northern Health as Senior IBD Fellow.
The Senior IBD Fellow shall provide a crucial service for the IBD Service at Northern Health, liaising with the IBD clinical nurse consultants, IBD pharmacist, IBD pharmacy technician, inpatient gastroenterology team, and senior IBD consultants, to provide the highest quality clinical care for patients with IBD, as well as participate in multiple quality improvement and research activities. This role provides a unique opportunity to advance skills and knowledge in the management of patients with complex gastroenterological conditions.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience and good working knowledge of general gastroenterological conditions and undertaking advanced training in gastroenterology, currently in second year or beyond;
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team environment;
- A passion for the care of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases;
- A drive for continual learning and professional development; and
- A strong interest in research and quality improvement activities
