About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vac Truck Operator to join our team at Dynamic Hydro Excavations' on Gold Coast, Queensland. As a Vac Truck Operator, you will play a vital role in our operations, operating specialised vacuum excavation equipment to support a range of critical projects. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

Operating specialised vac trucks and associated equipment to safely and efficiently excavate and remove soil, debris, and other materials from construction sites

Performing routine maintenance and inspections on vac trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations

Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely and effective completion of excavation work

Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to excavation activities

Providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced operators, as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vac Truck Operator in the construction industry

Possession of a valid HR or HC class driver's licence

Proficiency in operating a range of vac truck and associated excavation equipment

Strong knowledge of site safety protocols and environmental regulations

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
