About the Role
We are looking for an inspiring and proactive Team Manager to lead a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of clinicians within a community mental health setting. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide both leadership and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient and person-centred care within a recovery-oriented framework. You will guide your team in aligning with the Central Adelaide Local Health Network Mental Health Clinical Program (MHCP) guidelines, supporting best practice while promoting collaboration and clinical excellence.
As Team Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing service demand, coordinating workload allocation, and overseeing both administrative and clinical functions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality service provision through data monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement. This is also a relationship-focused role, where your ability to build and maintain strong partnerships across internal teams, government departments, and external agencies will be essential to creating an integrated and responsive mental health service.
Qualifications
AHP-4 An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers OR An appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapy with Occupational Therapy Australia OR Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA and general registration with PsyBA with an endorsed area of practice in Clinical Psychology.
RN-4 Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, and enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice. Graduate Diploma (or equivalent) in Mental Health Nursing.
