About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team at Precision Custom Joinery Pty Ltd in Baringa, Queensland. This is a full-time position, where you will contribute to the design, manufacture and installation of high-quality custom joinery for both residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate custom kitchen cabinets, vanities, wardrobes and other joinery items

Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools with a high level of skill and attention to detail

Experience in panel saw and edge bander operation an advantage

Assemble and install finished joinery products on site

Collaborate with the design team to recommend materials, finishes and construction methods

Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment

Provide mentorship and training to junior cabinet makers as required

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Cabinet Making or a related trade

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cabinet Maker in a custom joinery or cabinet-making environment

Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and working from precise measurements

Excellent hand skills and the ability to operate a range of woodworking machinery and tools

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills

Manual drivers licence
