About the role

M.D.A Cabinets' is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in Chandler, QLD. As a full-time Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality, custom-made cabinets and furniture pieces for our customers. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship.

What you'll be doing

Reading and interpreting design plans to create custom cabinet and furniture pieces

Operating various power tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components

Finishing and refining cabinet surfaces to a high standard, including sanding, staining, and varnishing

Collaborating with the design team to ensure the final product meets the customer's specifications

Maintaining a clean and organised workshop to ensure efficiency and safety

Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Cabinet Maker, preferably in a similar custom furniture or cabinetry workshop

Strong working knowledge of cabinet design, construction, and finishing techniques

Proficient in using power tools and woodworking machinery, including saws, sanders, and routers

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design plans

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the design and installation teams
