Polylink Piping Systems Pty Ltd are looking for experienced poly pipe welders to join our team in Bunbury, WA.

With predominately local south-west work, and a strong focus on work/life balance, you will be home every night with options or a 4-day week or 9-day fortnight leaving your weekends free for family or adventure. You will also enjoy KPI bonuses paid monthly.

You will be ticketed and experienced in poly pipe welding, you will have a white card, manual driver's license and be able to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol tests. Other tickets and experience would be a bonus such as Telehandler, Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights and Dogging. What you don’t know, we will teach you.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plastic pipe welding, site installation and maintenance.
• Plastic spool and sheet fabrication.
• Operate equipment and machinery.
• Maintain equipment and tools.
• Be actively involved in providing consultation with maintaining safe work methods and quality systems and documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications (preferred):

• Poly welding qualification (Butt and Electrofusion)
• Extrusion welding qualification
• High Risk License (Forklift, Rigging/Dogging desirable)
• Current C Class Drivers License (Manual)
• Telehandler Ticket
• Construction safety induction card – White or Blue Card
• Confined Space, Working at heights, EWP (desirable)
• Legal working rights in Australia

Experience:

• Industry experience including shutdown work is preferable

Skills:

• Positive attitude towards OHS and quality systems.
• Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to interpret a range of layout drawings.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• High attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills

Essential Requirements:

• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing medical and drug/alcohol screenings.
• Ability to provide a current police clearance
