Attractive Hourly Rates up to $70 p/hr
Skills & Experience
HDPE Butt Welding & Electrofusion Tickets
Extensive knowledge of HDPE pipe and fittings
Minimum 3 years experience, using a wide range of welding machines, such as McElroy, Dixon, Worldpoly, Ritmo, experience welding pipe up to 900mm.
Installation and maintenance of dewatering pumps and associated infrastructure
Excavator, Loader, Tele handler - Mobile Plant Tickets (nationally accredited) - Desirable
Current drivers licence - HR Licence - Desirable
Crane Licence - Desirable
RTIO, FMG, BHP inductions - Desirable
Able to interpret drawings and work unsupervised
Construction Industry White Card
Poly Welder
As a Poly Welder, your role will involve:
Weld poly pipes up to 900mm in diameter to construct various pipeline infrastructures, welding in T's, bends, stub flanges, repairs (cutting into existing lines), fabrication
Ensure safe and correct operation of welding machines
Work unsupervised and stick to project schedule
Operate machinery when required - Excavator, Loader, Tele handler
Complete all QA/QC paperwork
Install and operate dewatering systems at remote FIFO construction sites.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on dewatering pumps, hoses, and related equipment.
Installation and removal of pumps, Submersible, Bore and Diesel Surface Pumps
Mobile Plant Operators
Operate a range of mobile plant machinery including Excavators, Loaders, and Tele handlers on construction and mining sites
Assist with pipeline installation and general civil earthworks
Use machinery to safely move, lift, and position poly pipes, fittings, and dewatering equipment.
Conduct daily pre-start checks and maintain mobile plant logbooks.
